Maine Jewish Museum: Lifetime Achievement Award
Since 2012, the Maine Jewish Museum has bestowed an annual Lifetime Achievement Award to members of the community who have made lasting contributions to our community and our state. Their legacies will become our legacy. The Maine Jewish Museum is honored Nancy and Charlie Shuman with their 4th annual Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating their generous community service in Maine.

Charlie’s Chevrolet supports Winthrop Y
Charlie’s Chevrolet is supporting Winthrop YMCA through the Chevy Youth Baseball Program, donating both money and equipment during the 2015 youth baseball season.
Chevy Youth Baseball is a grassroots initiative that establishes a positive relationship between local dealers and the communities they serve, according to a press release from Charlie’s Chevrolet. The move, which is in the spirit of community collaboration and teamwork taught through youth sports, according to the release, is part of Chevrolet’s nationwide commitment to support youth sports one community at a time.
The 2015 national program will provide assistance to approximately 300 organizations in the Northeast and Chevrolet dealers will contribute over $450,000 in monetary and equipment donations, the release said.
